Many thanks to Geoff Weaver, our visiting Music Week Facilitator, Ekaterina and Elena Stern (Piano & Violin), Earl Moffit and St. Andrew’s Singers for a wonderful Musical Celebration on Tuesday evening.
Thank you, too, to everyone who attended and supported this event, raising funds for Tulips.
As Ella Fitzgerald once said “There’s only one thing better than singing – more singing”.
We couldn’t agree more!
This Tuesday at 7pm in St Andrew’s Church, Kyrenia.
A Musical Celebration in aid of Tulips/Help Those With Cancer Association.
Please support this extremely important charity.
We were privileged to have Geoff Weaver, our visiting Music Week Facilitator playing the organ for this morning’s Sunday worship.
Here is Geoff and our Music Director Earl, with some members of the choir before the service.
We look forward to hearing much more from Geoff, from Ekaterina and Elena Stern and from the St. Andrew’s Singers at Tuesday’s concert in aid of Tulips/Help Those With Cancer Association.
Amidst escalating conflict in the region of our Province, the Cathedrals of the Diocese will be holding a Zoom Service for Peace on Sunday 20 October at 1830 (Cyprus/Bahrain). Please visit https://www.cypgulf.org/cathedrals-zoom-service-for-peace/ for Order of Service, including Zoom link.
The service will begin from St Christopher’s Cathedral, Bahrain, led by the Very Reverend Richard Fermer, continuing after the Magnificat from St Paul’s Cathedral, Nicosia, led by the Very Reverend Jeremy Crocker.
The service will be recorded, to be posted on the Diocesan YouTube channel @cyprusandthegulf
We are delighted that the lovely and extremely talented Ekaterina and Elena Stern will be returning to St Andrew’s on Tuesday 22nd October.
They will be performing as part of our Musical Celebration – Autumn Concert in aid of
Tulips/Help Those With Cancer Association.
Ekaterina and Elena performed a fabulous concert at St Andrew’s last December and we are very much looking forward to welcoming – and hearing – them again.
